Technology multinational Izertis strengthens its digital asset capabilities through a strategic agreement with Bit2Me, the leading platform in Spain and the first Spanish-speaking fintech authorized by the CNMV as a Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP) under the (EU) MiCA Regulation. The alliance will allow the technology company's business clients to access solutions linked to the crypto ecosystem with the regulatory backing and integration that the business environment demands.

The adoption of digital assets in the business world is advancing at a pace that outstrips many organizations' ability to respond. Building the necessary infrastructure, complying with the applicable regulatory framework and managing crypto-asset operations securely requires time and resources that are not within reach of every company. This agreement lowers that barrier: Izertis acts as both integrator and guide, bringing Bit2Me's capabilities to any company that wants to take that step, at the time and to the extent it decides.

Concrete solutions for real business problems

Regardless of sector, Izertis's clients will be able to access a set of capabilities that until now required significant in-house development or were reserved for large corporations:

  • More agile international payments: transfers to suppliers, partners or employees in any country, available 24 hours a day, every day of the year, with traceability for every transaction.
  • Acceptance of crypto-asset payments: companies in any sector will be able to receive payments from their customers in crypto assets, with automatic conversion to euros if they prefer.
  • Treasury optimization: use of stablecoins to streamline liquidity management in international operations, with traceability of every movement and without depending on banking settlement hours.
  • Crypto-asset custody: custody of crypto assets under the MiCA framework, built on Ledger Enterprise infrastructure and with segregated accounts.
  • New business lines: financial institutions, fintechs and companies from other sectors will be able to expand their service offering by incorporating crypto-asset services under their own brand, relying on Bit2Me's infrastructure and compliance framework.

In each project, Izertis takes responsibility for defining, developing and implementing the most suitable solution for each client, ensuring integration with existing systems and compliance with the regulations applicable in each sector and geography. To do so, it combines the business-process and financial-regulation expertise of its Financial Tech Solutions area with the Blockchain solutions experience of its Emerging Technologies team.

Fernando Pastor, Director of Financial Tech Solutions at Izertis, and Joaquín Precioso Sánchez, Emerging Technologies Manager at Izertis, agree on the scope of the agreement:

"Interest in digital assets is no longer exclusive to the financial sector: industrial companies, retailers and logistics firms are asking us how to benefit from these technologies in a practical and secure way. Unlike the approach taken by many consultancies, which focus more on strategic reflection about blockchain than on actually implementing it, we start from the knowledge of the financial business, its regulation and its treasury processes, which we have built up over years and which we now apply to any sector. This agreement with Bit2Me gives us the regulated platform we needed to take that step, backed by the execution capacity Izertis has demonstrated across multiple sectors."

For Bit2Me, Gabriel Jose Ayala, Director of Banking Solutions at Bit2Me, notes:

"European banks don't need to build a crypto stack from scratch. With Izertis as systems integrator and Bit2Me as crypto-asset infrastructure under the European framework, an institution in Spain can bring liquidity, execution and digital operations to its own channels, while keeping control of the customer and its obligations as an institution."
