Bit2Me, Spain’s leading crypto asset platform with roots in the Valencian Community, and Club Deportivo Castellón have jointly raised over €410,000 for those affected by the flooding caused by the DANA in Valencia province.

Thanks to the solidarity and combined efforts of Bit2Me users, over €400,000 has been raised to help people impacted by the recent DANA in Valencia. This charitable initiative not only shows the commitment of both organizations in such a challenging situation for many people, but also highlights the generosity of each donor who has contributed their support at this critical time.

The effort was a joint endeavor involving Bob Voulgaris, president of C.D. Castellón, who made a personal contribution of €250,000, along with €49,100 from team supporters’ donations and an additional €120,000 from Bit2Me, which opened multiple blockchain addresses for cryptocurrency donations. Through the collaboration of both institutions, the impressive total of more than €410,000 was achieved.

A Charitable Gesture That Demonstrates the Power of Unity

From both C.D. Castellón and Bit2Me, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has contributed to making this initiative possible. Every euro raised is a testament to empathy and solidarity, reflecting the values of our users, the ‘orellut’ fan base, and the supporters of the Castellón club.

These funds will be fully dedicated to supporting the families and communities that, after the DANA, are facing the challenge of rebuilding their lives and homes. This charitable action is yet another example that cryptocurrencies and football can be drivers of change and support during the most difficult times.
