• Colombia, Uruguay, Panama, Costa Rica, or Ecuador are just some of the new countries where it will be possible to participate in the ICO.
  • The Telegram profiles informing about the ICO already have thousands of followers.
  • The ICO will launch on September 6 through B2M, the cryptocurrency developed by Bit2Me.

Madrid, August 31st, 21 Spanish cryptocurrency platform Bit2Me has received a high demand of requests to participate in its ICO, the largest launched to date in Spain, which will take place on September 6. This unusual interest, shown from different parts of the world, has pushed the cryptocurrency platform to start operating in 13 new countries so that participation in the ICO is accessible to citizens of those countries.

Citizens of Uruguay, Panama, Colombia, Bolivia, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Dominica, Martinique, and Guyana will now be able to acquire B2M tokens, developed 100% by Bit2Me. This list of countries adds to the more than one hundred in which the company operates.

The Telegram profiles that Bit2Me opened just a few days ago to offer information—both in English and Spanish—about everything related to the ICO have not stopped growing, reaching 6,000 members, a figure that is gradually increasing as the starting day approaches.

This interest goes hand in hand with the private sale that the company held a few weeks ago, and in which €2.5 million were raised, an amount never before achieved in Spain.

On September 6, Bit2Me will issue 500 million B2M tokens, which may be acquired from the website https://bit2me.com/token, where you can already schedule your purchase to participate. This will be the first phase before the next two phases, in which another 500 million tokens (phase 2) and 250 million tokens (phase 3) will be issued. In total, the ICO will end with a maximum of 1.25 billion tokens in circulation on September 30, 2021.

Participants will receive discounts of up to 90% on certain fees and services. In addition, participants who make purchases from Bit2Me partners with their card will receive a percentage of the purchase refunded at the end of the month.

Talent and Excellence

Bit2Me has continued to recruit talent as a strategy to strengthen its growth. Baldomero Falcones, international president for Mastercard between 2002 and 2006 and chairman of FCC, has recently joined the team as a Senior Advisor. Falcones was also the founder of Magnum Industrial Partners, the largest venture capital firm in Spain and Portugal. His objective will be to expand Bit2Me’s debit card service, Bit2Me Card.

Falcones is not the only big signing of the Spanish platform. A few weeks ago, Zeeshan Feroz, who was responsible for all business operations of Coinbase outside the US, joined Bit2Me as a Strategic Advisor. The team is led by Leif Ferreira, CEO and founder of Bit2Me, and Andrei Manuel, co-founder and COO. Both are accompanied by a large group of professionals with a high level of expertise and knowledge in technology and the crypto world.
