Internxt, the Valencian startup specialized in cloud storage and communication solutions with a focus on digital privacy, announces a strategic partnership with Bit2Me, the first Spanish-speaking fintech authorized by the CNMV to operate as a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) under the European Union’s MiCA Regulation.
Through this partnership, Internxt will begin accepting payments in Bitcoin and other digital assets for its services. Additionally, payments received in digital assets will be securely custodied by Bit2Me, creating a significant Bitcoin reserve. This model follows the example of international tech companies such as ProtonMail, Hostinger, and NordVPN.
The collaboration responds to growing user demand for solutions that ensure privacy and digital sovereignty, core values for Internxt and its community of customers.
Fran Villalba Segarra, Founder & CEO of Internxt, states: “With this partnership, we reinforce our commitment to privacy and digital sovereignty, offering our users the option to pay with digital assets and securely store them in Bitcoin.”
Juan Luis Pascual, B2B Director at Bit2Me, adds: “Our collaboration with Internxt highlights how Bitcoin adoption in Spain and across Europe is becoming increasingly established, driven by the integration of payment solutions and digital asset custody within innovative companies.”
In addition to enabling cryptocurrency payments, Bit2Me recently reached a historic milestone by receiving CNMV authorization. Together with the entry of new investors led by Tether, this reinforces Bit2Me’s expansion plans across the European Union and Latin America, including Argentina.
Both companies, leaders in the Spanish tech ecosystem, are consolidating their positions in digital innovation and privacy, contributing to a safer, more transparent technological environment aligned with user needs.
