Bit2Me, the first cryptocurrency platform registered with the Bank of Spain, has been selected by Telefónica Innovación Digital to fully operate TU Wallet, the new marketplace for Telefónica apps. Bit2Me will offer cryptocurrency trading on this platform, which was recently unveiled by the telecom company at its Telefónica Innovation Day event.
This new app, available for both Android and iOS devices, allows users to manage a selection of the top cryptocurrencies by market volume. With a focus on simplicity and security—hallmarks of Bit2Me—TU Wallet provides an intuitive experience for Telefónica’s millions of customers in Spain, as well as for over 392 million potential customers across more than 12 countries, and for anyone with a Spanish mobile number, regardless of their operator.
In addition to managing crypto assets, TU Wallet features the Bit2Me Card, a virtual card in partnership with MasterCard, which enables users to make payments with cryptocurrencies at over 100 million physical or online merchants that accept MasterCard. This extends the everyday use of cryptocurrencies, bringing them closer to the daily lives of users.
