B2M starts a new phase today with a new utility to be enjoyed by the more than 76K holders who already use it or keep it on Earn as of today.
The B2M utility token was born in September 2021. At the end of that month, we launched our own ICO, managing to raise €17.5 million in less than 3 minutes, a record figure in Spain in terms of both volume and fundraising time. In addition, a further €2.5 million was raised in a previous private round, making a total of €20 million. Since November 2021, B2Ms can be purchased on multiple exchanges such as Bit2Me, Uniswap, Bittrex and, since April 2022, also on Bitfinex.
In addition, since February this year, Bit2Me is the first Spanish company registered with the Bank of Spain as a provider of virtual currency exchange services for fiat currency and custody of electronic wallets.
It is also the largest online cryptocurrency academy in Spanish, with Bit2Me Academy, which already has more than four million users, and is backed by companies such as Huobi Ventures, Inveready or Valhalla Capital.
How does B2M work on fees?
Today we would like to announce a new functionality for our B2M token. We talked about it at the AMA on the 4th of July and it is nothing more and nothing less than the possibility to use B2M to get discounts on the fees of all your transactions in Bit2Me Pro.
To take advantage of this new feature, users will have to activate the “use B2M for commissions” option, which can be found in the Bit2Me Pro settings section, and will then be able to enjoy an applied discount of 25%.
