They say that January is a month of new beginnings, resolutions and premieres. And, at Bit2Me, we have been no strangers to these “popular traditions”. This has been, in a nutshell, the first 30 days of 2023.
We launched Bit2Me Card
On January 17, we launched the Bit2Me Card, the Mastercard that allows users to pay for whatever they want with the cryptocurrencies they have in their Bit2Me wallets. A card, both in physical and digital format, that is special. In addition to being a step forward in giving users greater financial freedom, it offers cashback of up to 9% in crypto, the highest on the market.
Bit2Me Card is also available for online payments and ATM withdrawals, and gives you the option to always choose which cryptocurrency you want to spend on each transaction you make or leave one among your favorites so you don’t have to be selecting, as you prefer. Bit2Me Card is already available and will reach all users before the end of January.
ETH 2.0
One of the most recurrent requests from our community was to make the switch to ETH 2.0 in Bit2Me Earn. And we have listened to you. For users, the switch to Ethereum 2.0 brings great benefits: more rewards for your ETH, from 3% APY* + up to 5.5% additional for B2M holders and the possibility to participate in the PoS process and support the development of the network. You have all the details of the update in this blog post.
Bit2Me Nodes has arrived
On Friday 27th, Bit2Me Nodes arrived, a new product with which we want to demonstrate our commitment to decentralized finance (DeFi) and that allows you to participate in the consensus of the networks and get rewards in cryptocurrencies by staking from any type of decentralized wallet. Bit2Me Nodes allows users to delegate their tokens to a Bit2Me validator node to generate rewards with autocostudy: a process based on delegating the ability to vote within a blockchain but without losing custody of the funds.
The first nodes of the product are already available for the Cardano and Solana blockchain. Many more will be added soon, including Ethereum, Avalanche, Oasis Network or Algorand.
We list 5 new AI coins
On January 19 we added 5 new AI cryptocurrencies to our wallet to our platform: Fetch AI (FET), SingularityNET (AGIX), dKargo (DKA), Cortex (CTXC) and Kambria (KAT), which join the existing ones in Bit2Me such as Ocean, iExec, Raven or Numeraire, among others.
New deposits of 19 cryptos
Since January 26, all Bit2Me users now have the option to incorporate deposits in 19 more cryptos with the implementation of this functionality in ATOM, EOS, HBAR, XLM, XRP, LUNC, UST and LUNA2, BONFIDA, KIN, MANGO, ORCA, OXYGEN, RAYDIUM, SABER, SERUM, STEP FINANCE, OP and VLX.
Bit2Me Commerce is now an Open Cart plugin
Bit2Me has reached an agreement with Open Cart to accept cryptocurrency payments on its platform. Open Cart is one of the largest e-commerce software companies and this partnership is a major boost for the implementation of Bit2Me Commerce in hundreds of online businesses.
‘Las voces de Satoshi’, our podcast, is born
As we were saying, in Bit2Me, in January, we have been in a premiere. New products and also new podcast in which, every 15 days, we bring influential personalities of the crypto, technological and economic scene and where we will give voice to the Bit2Me community. You can already see the #2 of ‘Las voces de Satoshi’ here and subscribe to the YouTube channel to be informed of all the news.
