Bit2Me, the first company recognised by the Bank of Spain as a virtual currency service provider, is participating this Friday, June 10 at Consensus, the world’s largest crypto event, which will bring together more than 500 speakers and 15,000 attendees in Austin, Texas.
The event will be attended by Pablo Casadio, CFO of Bit2Me and Abel Peña, CSO of Bit2Me, among others. Peña will participate in the panel “Winning the trust of the Web3”, where he will present the importance of crypto education, the need for global regulation of cryptocurrencies and the predominant role that security should have for cryptocurrency exchange and custody companies.
The panel will be held this Friday, 10 June, at 18:20 pm (Spanish time), and will be moderated by Viktor Fischer, Managing Partner at Rockaway Blockchain Fund. Joining the Bit2Me CSO will be Mariana De Win, Head of Corporate Development at Binance, Michael Rosmen, Cofounder of DeFi Yield, Manel Sort, CEO of G4AL and Joel Edgerton, Head of Americas at Ledger Enterprise.
For Bit2Me, education plays a key role in understanding the benefits of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology and is the only way to develop the crypto and Web3 ecosystem in a sustainable and lasting way. For this reason, we have launched the CryptoTour, an initiative that aims to turn Spain into a global crypto benchmark through knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology through universities, companies and public and private institutions.
This is an action that will begin in Spain and will progressively move to other countries, with the aim of enhancing the differential value that has made Bit2Me an innovative brand and a benchmark in crypto education.
“Since our founding in 2015, Bit2Me has understood how important education is for the ecosystem. That is why we created Bit2Me Academy, the largest cryptocurrency education portal in Spanish. All of this for free, so that everyone could understand the concepts, history and technology of this new financial and technological revolution,” Peña stresses.
The event will also be attended by a host of crypto personalities such as FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Frie, Paypal chairman and CEO Dan Schulman, Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao and Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov. US politicians and regulators such as Senator Cynthia Lummis and US Treasury Undersecretary Wally Adeyemo will also participate as speakers.
